The CPLE Leadership Lens is a self-paced, online leadership development program centered on a validated leadership style assessment with content tailored to physician and other healthcare leadership roles. It translates psychometric insight into clear, role-relevant guidance on how you show up as a leader and how you can be more intentional and effective in your current context. It is designed to help you build on existing strengths and identify and avoid potential leadership pitfalls.
Through brief videos, recommended resources, reflection prompts, and structured development tools, you connect your assessment themes to everyday decisions about leading teams, working across disciplines, and driving improvement in complex clinical environments.

How the program works
The program is organized into a sequence of “required and elective courses” that you can complete in focused blocks of time. Each module builds on your leadership assessment results, guiding you from understanding your leadership themes to selecting concrete development priorities and implementing them in your everyday work.
Most participants complete the core modules and an initial IDP over several weeks, then return to selected modules and tools as new leadership challenges arise.
Though there are different subscription options, participants will at a minimum complete the following:
A required course on how to complete your Hogan Leader Focus Assessment and get your results, with initial guidance on reading the report
Two courses from a list of 12 electives, with our suggestion being to focus on your highest and lowest scores from the leadership assessment (i.e., the leadership styles you rely on most heavily and least heavily)
A required course on building your own personalized leadership development plan, based on the assessment results and the interpretive material in the earlier courses
Information on options for going further in leadership assessment, development, and coaching with CPLE
Enrollment and pricing
Enrollment in the CPLE Leadership Lens program includes your Hogan Leader Focus assessment, full access to selected Leadership Lens modules, and downloadable development tools for the duration of your access period. Pricing is per individual participant, whether you purchase access yourself or your organization sponsors your enrollment.

Hospitals, medical groups, and health systems can purchase multiple seats in the CPLE Leadership Lens program for physician leaders and other key clinicians. Options range from small cohorts to larger blocks of seats; whole-organization subscriptions are not required.
